Iraq Forum for Dialogue and Development 1-3 October 2022

The Iraq Advisory Council (IAC) announced the launch of its inaugural Conference, the Iraq Forum for Dialogue and Development, to be held in Baghdad between 1-3 October, 2022. 
The Iraq Forum aims to establish a unique platform for national and international stakeholders to share visions, debate national policies and find solutions for the great challenges the country faces. This major conference will consist of a range of panel discussions, symposia and workshops on a number of strategic issues, including: the future of Iraq’s political and security systems, engaging the neighbours, consolidating the national identity, economic diversification, tackling poverty, the environment, management of water and energy resources and rebuilding the infrastructure.
Conference speakers will include policy- and decision-makers, academic experts, diplomats, international journalists and civil society leaders.
