Iraq Forum for Dialogue and Development

In view of the unprecedented political crisis in Baghdad, and with great regret, we announce that the Iraq Forum for Dialogue and Development (IFDD, scheduled for 1-3 October 2022) has been postponed to early next year. As much as we wished to go ahead with this timely and much needed forum, our moral obligation is to everyone’s safety first. We do not wish to put anyone at risk while the near future remains unpredictable in Baghdad. 
 
The Iraqi Advisory Council and the other members of the IFDD organising committee are proud of the remarkable response and unparalleled enthusiasm shown by colleagues and stakeholders from across the globe to attend the event. 

We very much hope they remain as interested until the environment is conducive to holding such a major event in Baghdad, the Capital of peace.
